Carolyn Hileman - The Voice* | February 26, 2008

Federal agents said they arrested a man on suspicion of human smuggling after he got stuck in a traffic jam. U.S. Border Patrol agents said they tried to stop a Dodge Stratus going north on Interstate 15 near Highway 76. The driver did not stop, and agents in an unmarked car followed the vehicle, the Border Patrol said. The car stopped because of traffic on westbound Highway 91, the Border Patrol said. The driver tried to flee when agents turned on their emergency lights, but his car moved forward and pinned his leg to a concrete center divider.
