BARACK DOES WHAT REPUBLICANS CAN’T

Obamamania proves that emotion runs stronger than logic.

When Barack Obama debated, he wooed with positive phrasing and encouraging words. “Change.” “Unite.”

Hillary Clinton called him on his adolescent presentations. She said it was time for a “reality check.” Recall? Then she began to recite a commendable list of realistic statements.

Hillary thought that the minds listening were with her. Some were. But since then, the stats have shown that mob psychology is more powerful that reasoned positions.

Therefore, the more Obamamaniacs continue to clutch his body, swoon over his presence, cheer on his misty cliches, the more Hillary will recede.

Obama mesmerizes the women, the young, the non-thinkers. He has in the palm of his hand some commentators who come right out on TV to applaud his speeches as being worthy.

They are not worthy. They are childish. They are boring and vapid. They are insulting to intelligent people.

But all that does not count when Obama dummies down American politics—the issues, the nation’s urgency for real-life solutions, the crucial matters pressing against our Republic’s health and very survival.

Obama has no actual plan. He really doesn’t. He has charm, some think a cute face, and a slender body. He has a young, driven wife.

So if the dumbing down continues to sway the crowds, Hillary may as well pack up and leave.

I pray that happens. I don’t mind Obama dumbing down politics.

I believe that a Republican candidate can overtake him once the two are put side by side.

Of course, that is if the whole country has not been so dumbed down that actual thinkers are in the stark minority.

And, unfortunately, that indeed could happen.
