ARE YOU TIRED OF POLITICS BY NOW?

It appears the newsfeeds are tired of the whole game, too.
News coverage has come to slow drag. That’s especially for Internet and cable coverage.
With the Obamamania gush-up all of a sudden, all sorts of media venues have crossed over to other items—quickly.
It was that one could waste an evening switching on cable from one yakking collection or another. About six hours would go by and the head was spinning with some trivia, some significant data.
Now the talking heads are absolutely boring—all of a sudden. Obamamania has done it. What else is there to hammer?
Barack Obama, a Dem, has wasted Hillary Clinton. No Republican militia had to do her in. That is one astounding miracle in itself.
Yet with that blessing, there comes the curse—left of left Barack Obama.
He’s lifted high as Messiah come to nation’s nirvana. Of course, Obama is no messiah. He’s the left’s evil doer in endorsing killing womb babies and sodomy.
If that’s not a slaying duo, what is? Can you name any others? Go for it. They’re there.
Anyhow, moralists’ patriotic heads have skipped to November. Conservatives have already dragged out the wailing towel. There’s no spring and summer for American politics.
The groupie votes are in. They won. Emotion overruled logic.
Obama takes over, brings home the troops, al Qaeda grabs Iraq for bloodletting home base. Iran ups its nuclear threat.
So there sits the messiah in the Oval Office with no cliché-embodied speech to deliver. In fact, there’s nothing to deliver but saving the world.
Actually I don’t think the messiah is up to that. So where do we go from here now that we’re in November?
