Just scan Barack Obama’s voting record to realize that he does not represent grassroots America.
He’s way too far left. Of course, that makes the secular, immoral leftists happy. But America is not “left off the charts.” Yet abominable Obama is just that and then some.
MSNBC via NewsMax.com provides the facts:
“Barack Obama has cast more than 1,100 votes since entering the U.S. Senate in January 2005, and those votes indicate the likely position he would take on several issues as president.
“In each of his three years in the Senate, Obama has voted with the majority of Democrats at least 96 percent of the time.
“Here is where he has stood on key measures in the Senate, according to MSNBC:
“Obama voted against the confirmation of John Roberts for the Supreme Court, saying he ‘far more often used his formidable skills on behalf of the strong in opposition to the weak.’
“He also cast a vote against Samuel Alito and even voted in favor of a filibuster to stall his confirmation.
“Obama opposed a bill in 2006 that would have denied citizenship or other legal status to illegal immigrants, and voted last year against a measure that would have allowed police to question people about their immigration status under certain circumstance.
“He voted in favor of the immigration reform bill sponsored by John McCain and Ted Kennedy that would have allowed many illegal aliens to become legal residents.
“Last October Obama voted for an act that would have allowed illegal immigrants who become permanent legal residents to qualify for lower in-state tuition rates at state universities. That measure was opposed by Democrats in a number of swing states that could be pivotal in this year’s election, MSNBC observed.
“The Illinois Senator voted against a 2006 bill to prohibit the transportation of a minor girl across state lines to get an abortion if this would circumvent parental consent.
“Obama voted against a bill extending the cuts in capital gains and dividends tax rates that Congress enacted in 2003, and against the repeal of the tax on inherited wealth, the estate tax.
“In June 2006, Obama voted against a bill that would have required President Bush to withdraw most U.S. troops from Iraq by July 1, 2007. But this past September, he joined 27 other Democrats in voting for a bill ordering Bush to begin withdrawing most American forces within 90 days. The bill failed to pass.”
In addition, Obama is pro-choice, even for partial-birth abortion. He cried “horrific” when the Supreme Court banned partial-birth abortion. Hillary Clinton joined him in his protestations against the Court’s action.
Obama is also pro-homosexual lifestyle.
Per New Hampshire Presidential Watch, Obama is in favor of “civil unions” but does not want to make a splash about it.
When Obama met with New Hampshirites, New Hampshire Freedom to Marry citizens listened closely. This group is for homosexual “marriage.”
When Obama concluded his public speech to 8,500, he then met with representatives of New Hampshire Freedom to Marry voters.
“After the rally, the group was taken to a private room in the basement of the Verizon Wireless Arena. Within minutes a jacketless Obama arrived accompanied by two secret service members.
“According to the notes of someone who was there, ‘He believed that couples in civil unions should have the same rights that heterosexual married couples have. He would not push for same-sex marriage because the country was not ready for it and that the issue would be the lightning rod (source’s words) that Republicans would use to rally opposition to his campaign.’”
Per CBNNews.com’s David Brody: “During his run for the U.S. Senate, Obama addressed this issue. He was asked the following question and then see his answer right below:
“Q: ‘Is the principle that you stand on this issue, religion? That religion views marriage as man and woman, not man and man or woman and woman?’
“A: ‘My personal philosophy is that as a Christian, I see no contradiction with embracing same-sex couples as part of our community. That’s my Christian ethos.’”
Further, Obama is definitely in favor of illegals remaining in the US as well as giving them special benefits.
Obama fails those who are in the business of reporting immigration stance. He consistently works hard for those who break the law.
Example: Obama has voted for amnesty for aliens.
He voted “in favor of giving illegal aliens further rewards and other incentives to come such as in-state tuition, educational benefits, welfare, and health care services” per Immigration Stance.
In addition, Obama has worked to increase illegals’ statistics by having their relatives come to America where the latter learn with more precision how to break America’s law.
This is The Boy who promises the New Heaven and New Earth to America.
This is the “inspirational” speaker who hypnotizes his audiences.
This is the magnet who draws to his heart weeping women enthralled by his smooth tongue.
Yet we are to expect The Boy to bring justice to the nation while aggressively working for lawbreakers?
Immigration Stance reports: “Once an immigrant is legally here they can send home to bring in more adults from their family such as parents, siblings and adult children.
“That legal immigrant can then bring in more family members directly related to them. This is called chain migration and Senator Barack Obama wants it to continue.
“Chain migration has exponential growth and is the primary cause of the 4-fold increase in immigration to this country since 1960.
In addition, “Senator Barack Obama has voted for increases in permanent and temporary foreign work visas such as the H1-B. All too often these work visa programs are abused by employers and used to get lower cost workers into this country rather than hiring American workers.
“For the foreign worker it is common to see them not return to their home country and remain here on an expired visa.
“Overall, Senator Barack Obama has a poor record when it comes to immigration reform.
“Senator Barack Obama actively encourages more illegal immigration to our country and is in our opinion a threat to this nation. We cannot give Barack Obama our seal of approval” informs the Immigration Stance web site.
