MSM & Polls Again WRONG! Romney Wins Bigger Than Expected in Michigan

I wonder what the pollsters are smoking. Michigan was supposed to be close and possibly even go to McCain. But Mitt Romney won handily taking 39% of the vote while McCain came in second with 30%. Mike Huckabee is finding it harder and harder to win delegates as he managed only 16% and has been fading fast since Iowa.

Ron Paul is also seeing his numbers slip steadily as the primary moves on. He got only 6% in Michigan despite rumored attempts that liberals would try to boost his numbers since their primary was pretty much meaningless since the Democrats were stripped of their delegates for violating party rules and advancing their primary so early.

Both Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani need their strategy of staying out of many of these early primaries to pay off. They got 4% and 3% respectively.

Next up is South Carolina on Saturday and see if the pollsters can come closer to being right.
