When it comes to what people think about 10 candidates sitting on a stage with each getting no real time to answer questions and not getting very many questions at all, the majority think that debates should be limited to the number of candidates on stage.

Although they are divided about how many candidates should be in the debates, only 35% thought that more than six or even all of the candidates should be invited:

Most respondents thought the debate should be limited to the top 5 candidates or fewer.

    I think that it doesn’t make sense to let everyone that might be able to get their name on a ballot be in a debate. First they should have to be able to prove that they are a viable candidate otherwise we are listening to sound bite answers or getting a 10 hour debate.
