Police said an arrest has been made in connection with a possible act of retaliation for a shooting at a wedding in Ogden. Ogden police arrested Adrian Joseph Alvarado, 29, Thursday night on investigation of attempted murder and aggravated kidnapping. He is believed to be connected to a shooting in August, where a bleeding man was dumped and left to die on a roadside. “He was partly involved in the abduction of the victim out there,” Ogden Police Lt. Loring Draper said Friday morning. Gang unit detectives said Alvarado is not believed to be the one who shot the man but was involved in the attempted murder. Draper said investigators are still trying to determine if the shooting was retaliation for a gang shooting the day before at a wedding party.
