Dodd & Biden Bite The Dust
J.J. Jackson | January 7, 2008
Two Democratic senators from the Northeast — Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut and Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware — became the first casualties of the Iowa caucuses on Thursday night. After both failed to get a single percentage point, they issued statements saying they would drop out of the race.
Come on guys! Get with the program! Obviously your policies weren’t socialist enough!

Telling us Dodd and Biden dropped out is like telling us two people were buried because they were dead. Hardly what one would call news.
Speaking of which, what would be NEWS if we could make elected officials dock their pay when they’re not on the job, but out running for another public office. It’s like you telling your editor you’ll be out a week or three looking for a better job with another media outlet, but please keep the paychecks coming.

Good thing this isn’t a “news” site then.
It’s a commentary site.
