Change For The Sake Of Change?

With the vast majority of Americans saying that they are satisfied with their lives, the question is whether or not they will vote for change for the sake of change in 2008.

PRINCETON, NJ — As Americans look ahead to the new year and reflect on the year past, a recent Gallup Poll finds the public generally content with their own lives. Most Americans say they are generally happy, with a slim majority saying they are “very happy.” More than 8 in 10 Americans say they are satisfied with their personal lives at this time, including a solid majority who say they are “very satisfied.”

With this news, prepare for an onslaught of boo hoo stories about the mythical “neighbors” who you have but didn’t know were suffering and not going well.

With 80% of America “satisfied” it is the only way the left can continue to promote more Marxism and convince you to vote for them. The problem is that I wonder how many of the 80% who are satisfied are “satisfied” because they are getting what they want from the tax payers in terms of unconstitutional handouts.  Some where around half I suspect.  Because I’m sure that the Democrat is going to get at least 45% of the vote for promising more socialism to Americans come election day.
