(CNSNews.com) - Prosecutors in Wisconsin on Wednesday decided not to press charges against a teacher who praised the Columbine High School shooters in a blog comment intended to make conservatives look bad. The decision drew praise from the conservative blogger the teacher had hoped to smear.

How did they trace the poster’s IP?

    Unless… the “conservative” blogger snitched!

    Good work comrade!

Why the hell should he be charged? No threats were made and he didn’t incite violence by his remarks. In a statement he later gave he said he was posing as a conservative to make them look bad by his comments. Whatever. He’s an idiot. That’s all. If idiocy was illegal most of us would be serving life in prison. He should have never been arrested.

ISP’s are far too giving of information to law enforcement based on simple requests. No subpoena no information. If a subpoena was issued by a judge I suspect it was a “prosecutor-friendly” court. It seems any medium of true freedom is doomed for government interference by big government “nanny state” politicians and those that would have us be “protected” by speech they deem as non-PC.

The only people who hate “snitches” are people that don’t want to be held accountable for what they do. Bullies are a prime example.

We often report the IPs of abusive idiots. If you don’t like it go away.

This person praised killing innocent people. That is definitely something that the police should be looking in to.

People often believe that they others should be free to be idiots. And they should. Until that idiocy starts to raise questions about what that person is thinking and that they might be a threat.

That’s what the police are there for.

Guys, don’t bother. Stalin is just another Gunny/FreeTrader alt.

    Same IP block.

    A real loser.

I suppose that explains his being upset over the IP address thing :D

    “Loser” is an understatement.

Agreed. You can’t just take that sort of stuff lightly. You start talking adoringly about killing people for basically no real reason and I expect the police to go investigate and even slap the cuffs on you until they sort it out.
