Sharpton Probed

Well, Rev. Al Sharpton has once again found himself under scrutiny.

NEW YORK (CBS) ― The Reverend Al Sharpton is once again under federal investigation.

Sharpton staffers were told to appear before a grand jury the day after Christmas and provide investigators with the reverend’s financial records.

A fired-up Sharpton came out swinging Thursday after finding out that his non-profit National Action Network — and possibly he himself — is being investigated.

Sources tell CBS 2 HD federal tax agents are looking into the possibility the National Action Network co-mingled funds with Sharpton’s presidential 2004 campaign.

True or not it remains to be seen. However Al, this might be a good time to listen to what I and others have to say about the FairTax. Since under the FairTax there wouldn’t be any federal tax agents coming to your door wondering if you manipulated your way around the tax code.

What do you say Al? Want to come on board and help dismantle the federal tax bureaucracy?

I think Al should be probed deeper - in prison if you catch my drift.
