ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) - A Roswell police officer was removed from school campuses after turning a pregnant 18-year-old student over to immigration authorities. The Roswell Daily Record says the district and police department decided to remove all school resource officers after the incident last week. Police Chief John Balderston defends the action by Officer Charlie Corn. But he says Roswell schools Superintendent Michael Gottlieb asked for Corn’s removal. Senior Karina Acosta was cited November 29th for a parking violation and driving without a license.

Turn in an illegal alien and get removed from your duties? Sounds to me like Superintendent Michael Gottlieb needs to be fired!
