Pruitt’s says taxes fund immigration rallies

A furniture store owner has accused Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon of allowing a day labor advocate to use tax dollars to help fund weekly immigration rallies near the store.

Roger Sensing, owner of M.D. Pruitt’s Fine Home Furnishings at Thomas Road and 35th Street, made the accusation in a letter to the mayor on Thursday.
