Honduran Girl Begged Couple for Help
Carolyn Hileman* | December 21, 2007 |
“We had a young Honduran girl. She was shivering and cold and begging for help,” says Metz. Waite tells us, “She walked for 20 days all the way from Honduras on foot.” The couple says the teenage girl had been separated from a group of 13 and was on the run. “I imagine she had a good case of pneumonia, if nothing worse, because it was down to 47 degrees. She was soaking wet,” described Waite. It’s the latest face-to-face encounter the couple has had with an illegal immigrant. And Waite tells us it’s just one example of the illegal activity they see on their land everyday.

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal, you probably are not. Keep this in mind as trolling is prohibited and will result in your comments not being approved and comments informing us how much we are a bunch of idiots because you say we are or espousing hate towards the truth are often moved directly to the official “I Hate You/You’re An Idiot” thread. Save us all the time and post there directly if you have a comment that would meet those criteria. Commenters reserve the right to mock claims about how liberal ideas, such as higher taxes, actually work and how conservative and right wingers, are NAZIs, racists, sexists, etc. and will do so with great regularity. By posting a comment you agree to abide by the rules of this site.

Metz then poured oil and balm on the Honduran girl’s wounds, and sent her to a place to rest and be cured, asking nothing from the girl. Then do ye the same.
Right? I guess not. Kick ‘em in the face an’ let ‘em starve, huh.
You people scare me.

What scares me is that there are people like Dale who actually think that it is ok for people to violate immigration law.
Hard to say LP. The comment was so poorly worded that we can only guess at what our friend Dale was actually trying to say. I don’t even know if he knows.
We can only wonder what “people” he is refering to.
