An Example of Idiocy

This is such a wonderful illustration of what happens when a false premise blinds someone so completely how they are willing to give up everything.
Abigail writes:
Don’t you know that peace is always the answer and that war never is? Can you get over your desire to killjust long enought to see that?
I respond:
So if war is never the answer Abigail, does that mean that if tomorrow the North Koreans invaded the United States you would let them come here and institute a communist government without ever lifting a finger?
Abigail responds:
Absolutely. War is never the answer.
I respond:
So your liberties mean so little to you that you are willing to give them up?
Abigail responds:
Liberties are nothing if it means war.
I respond:
Wow, how utterly absurd.
Abigail responds:
The only thing that is absurd is that people think war solves anything.
I respond:
Yeah, war has never solved any problems. I guess Hitler’s attempts at exterminating the Jews which were only stopped by Germany getting bombed to Hell and back didn’t count.
For some reason … Abigail has yet to respond to that. It’s been two weeks. And I’m waiting.
