Suspected Hezbollah Mole Began as Illegal Immigrant in US

There is cause for great concern about the case of Nada Nadim Prouty, a Lebanese citizen who managed to game the immigration bureaucracy to acquire United States citizenship. By marrying fraudulently, she was able to achieve her goal of becoming a resident alien after she had gained lawful entry into the United States as a student. She eventually became a trusted employee of the FBI and the CIA. I have a fairly extensive background in this sort of arrangement. When I was with the former INS, I was detailed for about a year as an adjudicator to the unit charged with determining if couples who claimed to be married (in order to enable aliens to become resident aliens) were truly living together or had engaged in a fraud or “sham” marriage to circumvent the immigration laws of the United States.
