Sarkozy Flashes His Balls … Socialists Continue to Riot

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has vowed to maintain his controversial economic reforms despite a second week of crippling industrial action.

He said the reforms were overdue and that they were necessary “to confront the challenges set by the world”.
Hundreds of thousands of civil servants joined striking transport and energy workers on Tuesday over the proposals.
The 24-hour action is said to be the largest protest against Mr Sarkozy’s reforms since he took power in May.

And low and behold:

PARIS (AP) — French transport networks started returning to normal Friday after workers ended a nine-day strike protesting President Nicolas Sarkozy’s plans to reform retirement rules.

Sarkozy declared victory over the strikers, although pockets of resistance remained. Restoring full service to the nationwide rail service and public transport in Paris and other cities was expected to take days.

See, eventually the little socialists start running out of money and they have got to eat! Hard to draw a paycheck when you are on strike and having a temper tantrum.

Don’t like you benefits? Get another job. Simple.

Now, if only some American politicians would have the same amount of brass showing as Sarkozy and “reform” our socialist welfare state and stop all the unconstitutional programs that make up over 60% of our federal spending.
