2) U.S. Department of Labor announces grant of more than $1 million to assist BRAC-affected workers in Missouri (find justification for this in Aricle I if you disagree)
3) U.S. Labor Department recovers nearly $2 million in back pay for Houston home mortgage employees (find justification for this in Aricle I, Section 8 if you disagree)
4) U.S. Department of Labor announces nearly $900,000 grant to assist Maine workers affected by layoffs (find justification for this in Aricle I, Section 8 if you disagree)
5) U.S. Department of Labor announces awards totaling $20 million for Youth Offender Grants (find justification for this in Aricle I, Section 8 if you disagree)
6) U.S. Department of Labor announces $10.5 million grant to assist hurricane-damaged Louisiana (find justification for this in Aricle I, Section 8 if you disagree)
7) U.S. secretary of labor announces $50 million to respond to Southern California wildfires (find justification for this in Aricle I, Section 8 if you disagree)
8) U.S. Department of Labor announces grant exceeding $1.2 million to help with flood recovery in central and western Wisconsin (find justification for this in Aricle I, Section 8 if you disagree)

Gee, and you wonder why we are running a deficit? It’s called the Nanny State and this is just the tip of the iceberg. We haven’t even broached the biggies like Social Security, Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, etc!
