RSSPaulbots Caught In Lie Cover Their Tracks (Poorly)

The Paulbots are in their usual form! Recently militaryforpaul.com posted a page on their site claiming the VFW had endorsed Ron Paul. The page stated:
Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Endorses Ron PaulVeterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is an American veterans organization with over 2 million members. VFW works on behalf of American veterans by lobbying Congress for better veterans’ health care and benefits. The VFW also maintains a nationwide organization of employees and volunteers to assist veterans with their VA disability claims and job placement.
VFW also donates hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of hours for community service. One of their most popular programs, Operation Uplink, provides free phone cards to overseas service members.
The political action committee for VFW, VFW-PAC, has repeatedly endorsed Ron Paul throughout his congressional career.
In an attempt to convince people (once again) that Ron Paul actually has the support of the military. Here is a screenshot of the original page captured on October 15th.
However when it became known that this claim was being put out there, and the claim was obviously FALSE, the site owner changed up the page without so much as even a notice of the change.
This lead people like Frank (read comment in this thread) to cite the NEW page and not the original one. Isn’t Google’s cache function a GREAT tool? It helps us catch those that would lie and then try to cover their tracks! Notice NOW the site talks about their past endorsements of him and it no longer is written to imply a current endorsement.
Give up these lies about Paul and the military. They’ve already been thoroughly debunked here and here!
The lesson in all this? Simple. Don’t lie! Then you won’t get caught in your lie and then you won’t have to send out the minions to try and cover up for the lie!
*Note: I have NOT accused Ron Paul of lying on this issue. Although I have on other issues such as the TRUE history of American foreign policy which is not “non-interventionism” as he claims.

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal, you probably are not. Keep this in mind as trolling is prohibited and will result in your comments not being approved and comments informing us how much we are a bunch of idiots because you say we are or espousing hate towards the truth are often moved directly to the official “I Hate You/You’re An Idiot” thread. Save us all the time and post there directly if you have a comment that would meet those criteria. All the arguments against Ron Paul here fall into two categories:
1. I’m against him wanting to pull out of Iraq.
2. I can’t stand his supporters.
Disagreeing with him on Iraq is fine. But deciding against a candidate because of his supporters? Pretty flimsy. Why is that repeated so much?
Stick to the issues. His supporters aren’t an issue.
If you’re a conservative, vote for the most conservative candidate. PERIOD.
If you don’t, stop lying to yourself and others and present yourself like the pinko, socialist, commie that you are.
You are a Paulbot. Obviously. The fact that you tried to turn this post into a something other than it is not is a typical Paulbot attack. Because you will note that the only people being talking about here are his supporters and their stupidity.
In fact no one said anything about Ron Paul in particular. But you claim there are “arguments against Ron Paul here” when there aren’t.

Yep, Paulbot. Because only a Paulbot would call Jeff a socialist. Maybe “freedom” here should just be accurate and call him or her self “moron”. How many more posts need to be made about the government breaking the Constitution and that Socialism and Communism suck before these retarded Paulbots figure it out that they are not a majority of libertarians?
The “Rules” state what tolling is, that it is not allowed and that lost comment is it. So bye-bye!
“Freedom” was trying really hard. You could just tell. “Freedom” was trying to sound reasonable but just couldn’t address the actual substance of the post which is that Paul supporters seem to have a habit of lying. Then at the end “Freedom” broke down and had to show himself to be a total loon by accusing Jeff, who is probably one of the most libertarian people I have ever met and that includes Ron Paul, a name that isn’t even remotely accurate.
Way to go “freedom”. You are a big reason why people like myself left the Paul camp. We just got sick and tired of you people (and you are in the majority of those supporting Paul unfortunately) not dealing with reality and defending the man no matter what he did even when he was wrong. Of course his little earmark requests on his own letterhead and then claiming he didn’t make them after he was caught helped out too. There was absolutely no room for true libertarians in the Paul camp. That much was made clear to me.
And yes, it is that obvious where your loyalties lie. And that is not with the truth. I’ve been around enough Ron Paul supporters to know this tactic well.
Never point out to the Paulites that they are wrong.
And never point out to them that the military really doesn’t support Ron Paul for President. Sure, when push comes to shove and it’s Paul versus some cut and run Democrat they will, but only then. And if you ever cite actual facts like polls and an examination of the donation numbers well, you must be a commie!

You didn’t read this site very thoroughly before displaying your ignorance for all to see. If you had you would have seen over and over again Ron Paul taken to task over his earmark requests and also his failure to accurately portray historic American foreign policy which is not the non-interventionism policy he wishes it were - ever. You can read this site and see the discussions of the help the founding fathers got from France in their own civil war for a clear example that even they supported interventionist policies. I suggest you do read this site because you might actually learn something and become intelligent on issues you want to discuss. But you won’t be posting here and dumbing down the conversation.

The problem with the GOP field is that there is no “most conservative” candidate. All of them have a liberal streak here or there that makes them all pretty much a wash when it comes to picking one. And yes, that includes Ron Paul with his earmark problem and whiney, unfounded, non-historic stance on foreign policy too.
I can state unequivocally that I still have yet to meet another fellow leather neck that supports Ron Paul for President.
This “the military supports Paul” for President bull shit by his supporters is only helping to kill his campaign for an office he is not fit to hold.
The fact that freedom’s first words were criticizing people here for discussing the goofiness of this website and the lie it was trying to propagate and doing thus based on false premises (i.e. that non-support for Paul was based on two things that generally speaking it is not) rather than denouncing the action of the site itself let the cat out of the bag as to who freedom supports for President.
The quickest way to get banned here is to pull out the old Jeff’s a commie or a socialist or a fascist because he doesn’t agree with you lie. Can’t say I blame them either. I certainly don’t come here to read fruitless rants by morons like freedom who think they know something when they don’t.
I am also still searching for someone in the military that actually supports Ron Paul. I see about 100 soldiers other than myself a day and still haven’t come across one.
