Make 2007 the last year we debate the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT)

Dear FairTax supporters,

Tell Congress you demand a REAL alternative to the income tax Congress is now debating how to “fix” the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). If they don’t act by the end of this month, your 2007 income taxes could be more complicated and more costly than ever before. Are you one of the 20 million Americans who may have to pay this tax next year?

An amendment is up for consideration that would abolish the AMT. Ask Congress to abolish the AMT, then go a step further: Support the FairTax and abolish the convoluted system that makes the AMT even possible.

Speak up now, and help us make sure Congress keeps its eye on real tax reform like the FairTax. You have already helped us make a huge difference. This year we made the FairTax known to every presidential candidate and most of the nation. In 2007, we’ve helped add nine more congressional co-sponsors to make it a record 65. But now we must push–and push hard–to see the FairTax move toward enactment.

Don’t delay: Take a moment now to convince your representative that it is time they support H.R. 25 and “Dare to be Fair!”
