The political left is not going to like this, but it appears that once again they are left without much to do but weep in their drinks. Even though embryonic stem cells have not proved very fruitful for curing diseases, they have told us that we must harvest them from unborn children (through aborting them or destroying frozen human embryos). But that has changed.
SAN FRANCISCO — Separate teams of scientists on two continents revealed Tuesday that they have created stem cells from human skin cells - a development that eventually could allow researchers to sidestep the contentious moral issues that have hobbled early studies in a promising field.The startling breakthrough was hailed by parties on all sides of the stem cell debate because it raised the prospect that the controversial destruction of human embryos and the need to harvest eggs from women donors might one day no longer be needed.
“This has the potential to reshape the politics and science of stem cell research,” said Jesse Reynolds, a policy analyst for the Center for Genetics and Society, an Oakland-based organization that favors stem cell studies.
Liberals will now have to have a pow wow to come up with another reason to justify abortion. Expect new, insane talking points shortly.
Yet another thing I am thankful for this Thanksgiving!

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal, you probably are not.
