She’s just going to claim that she won’t show for the CBS debate to show “solidarity” with unions. From Drudge:

Hillary Clinton issued the following statement:
“The workers at CBS News have been without a contract for close to two and a half years. It is my hope that both sides will reach an agreement that results in a secure contract for the workers at CBS News but let me be clear:
“I will honor the picket line if the workers at CBS News decide to strike.
“AmericaÕs unions are the backbone of America’s middle class and I will always stand with America’s working men and women in the fight to ensure that they are able to earn a fair wage.”
A “fair wage” huh? This coming on the heals of the vast majority of Americans saying that this strike doesn’t affect them? Perhaps if they are so meaningless they are making far too much money.
And what’s this about unions being the “backbone of America’s middle class”? In 2006 only 12% of “employed wage and salary workers were union members”. Backbone my ass! This isn’t he 1930’s Queen Hillary. Unions are not the “backbone” of America. The “backbone” of liberal hopes and desires maybe. But not America. With regards to America they are closer to the anus than they are the “backbone”.
I’ll say it. I’m PROUD to be NON UNION!
