With Baby Bonds Failure, Hillary Moves On to 401ks For All!

Hillary’s cooking spaghetti again, like so many liberals love to do. She’s going to keep coming up with ideas to throw against the wall until she finds one that sticks. With “Baby Bonds” an utter failure she’s back with another plan:

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (AP) _ Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is proposing every citizen get a 401(k) retirement account and up to $1,000 in annual matching funds from the government.
Speaking in Webster City Tuesday, the New York senator says less than half the families in the U.S. have retirement savings accounts and those who have them aren’t saving enough.

Say what? Is Hillary Clinton forgetting about Social Security when she says that less than half of families have retirement accounts? And speaking of Social Security, with it’s horrid rates of return, what makes anyone think that the government can add another socialist program on top of it and make it run any better?

Her baby bond idea failed for many reasons. One major one is that not enough actual voters would have benefited so she wasn’t bribing enough people with a “government should help me” attitude. So now she’s back and promising every voter the opportunity for “free” money which she is going to pick off her money tree she keeps in her Congressional office apparently.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, if you elect Hillary Clinton President in 2008 you’ll have all sorts of wealth redistribution schemes like this proposed and burden the taxpayers with all sorts of new costs to fund … through tax increases on the “rich” of course. Problem is that eventually we’ll add enough socialism to make the “rich” anyone making over $30k a year.

Don’t we have enough (far too many in my opinion) already? Can you liberals please stop meddling in our lives? Us Americans would really appreciate it!
