Illegal Immigrants Arrested in Le Mars Raid Face Federal Charges

Some of the people arrested in an immigration raid near Le Mars, Iowa face federal charges. The Plymouth County Sheriff says three of them are charged with falsifying documents. Four others were also detained and will be deported. All seven were arrested at hog confinements owned by Michael Vander Windt Thursday morning. It’s alleged Vander Windt employed the illegal immigrants. They were taken to Omaha, Nebraska, by federal agents. An investigation continues.
