Have your ever walked through the Tucson International Airport and seen Border Patrol agents? This of course is not near the border, but agents are on patrol. Agent Dove Haber said, “Traditionally we’ve seen patterns nationwide of smuggling organizations using major transportation hubs. This is something that’s a no brainer for us. We are in close proximity to the border; an easy route smugglers are going to take advantage of.” They’re at Tucson International Airport and at Phoenix’ Sky Harbor Airport every day, 24 hours a day.
