The death of Phoenix police officer Nick Erfle is being felt on every badge across the Valley, but none as heavy hearted as that of Sean Pearce.

Pearce found himself on the other end of a gun, at the mercy of an illegal immigrant three years ago.

“I was responding for a search warrant,” said Sean Pearce, who once was a member of MCSO’s Swat Team. “And then the next thing I knew I was shot. Twice.”

Unlike Officer Erfle, Pearce survived and as you can imagine, feels fortunate.

“I look at my family, my kids, I am truly fortunate.” He says.

When the phone call reached Pearce’s father Russell Pearce, he was on a speaking tour in Washington.

On the issue of Immigration, the Florida Republican base has a strong message. Forget about NEW immigration laws. Enforce the laws that are on the books NOW. The American people, the true American people, will never go along with the disgusting ploy of amnesty for illegals.
This must be stopped. We cannot allow illegals to come in and take over our country. We don’t need new laws. Just enforce the ones we already have.
Stop illegal employment. Stop the drain on our social services. Stop the anchor baby policy. Stop the chain migration. If we need workers, set up employment agencies in other countries. Let the people apply for employment there, come here for a specific length of time, then go home. What is so hard about that?
Americans are not asleep at the wheel. “Illegel immigration” will never fly with us!
