Multiculturalists Labeling Switzerland As Europe’s “Heart Of Darkness” For Trying To Protect Itself

One of the first things that annoys me about this is the attempt at drawing a parallel with the Joseph Conrad novel of the same name. It doesn’t work, but it sounds dark and grim enough so the reporter who wrote the article - or his editor - slapped it up there as the title. Attention getting with just the right amount of hysteria attached, yes. In anyway germain to the issue and what’s really happening, no. I doubt if the learned author - or his editor - of the left wing hit piece ever read the book I like it when hot button labels like “xenophobic”, “racist”, and “a worrying new extremism” are slapped on issues in the first few paragraphs of a story. It generally means that the author doesn’t have any real argument against whatever it is he or she is reporting on so the old tried and true tactic of social hysteria is applied.
