DiCaprio Dying Out There
J.J. Jackson* | September 9, 2007
What happens when you are so far out of touch with reality that not even liberals will touch you with a ten foot poll? Ask Leonardo DiCaprio.
It’s a good thing Leonardo DiCaprio made so much money from “Titanic” a decade ago.His environmental documentary, “The 11th Hour,” has been a total bust at the box office. After 18 days in release, the film has grossed only $417,913 from ticket sales. The 90-minute snore-fest is playing on 111 screens this week, but that number is likely to be reduced this Friday. The film will be sent to DVD heaven after that.
By comparison, Al Gore and Davis Guggenheim’s similar but far more engaging “An Inconvenient Truth” had already made $3.5 million by its 18th day of release.
Yes, but it is important to note that SINCE those first 18 days, Al Gore’s little turd has only netted $49,103,169 world wide in 73 total days of release.
Compared to:
Transformers: $685,594,858 (released on July 3, 2007)
Fantastic 4 – Rise of the Silver Surfer: $273,656,393 (released on June 15, 2007)
Shrek the Third: $757,466,679 (released on May 18, 2007)
And so on just to give you some idea about how people actually rate Al Gore’s theories on a general scale of where they are going to spend their money. Apparently “Global Warming” hysteria ranks well below robots from outer space, superheroes and an animated baby ogre puking. Among many other things.
Sorry Al. Sorry Leo.

nonbeliever! ha.
(I admit, leo’s preachiness does get on my nerves, though.)
Being a non-believer is easy when science is on your side
