Edwards Launches More “Personal Attacks” At Coulter

Apparently John Edwards isn’t going to take the advice of his own wife who back in June pleaded for Ann Coulter to “stop the personal attacks” which weren’t even personal attacks!  Back then, Ann Coulter quipped that she had taken heat for calling John Edwards a “faggot” (in the context of sissy) while Bill Maher was able to wish Dick Cheney killed in a terrorist assault without any backlash.  Coulter said:

“Oh yeah, I wouldn’t insult gays by comparing them to John Edwards. That would be mean. But about the same time … you know Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack. So I’ve learned my lesson. If I’m going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

Which sent the sissy John Edwards and his wife into hyperdrive.  But like I said, John Edwards apparently thinks his wife’s own advice isn’t all it is cracked up to be.  Not even making a legitimate comparison about how liberals get a pass (like Coulter did) John called Ann Coulter a “she-devil” in a Howard Dean like tirade:

ABC News’ Rick Klein Reports: Former Sen. John Edwards on Friday fired the latest round in his ongoing verbal feud with Ann Coulter, calling her a “she-devil” at a public event before quickly adding that he shouldn’t engage in name-calling.

Edwards, D-N.C., was railing against the right-wing media — including Fox News and Rush Limbaugh — when he reminded a crowd in Burlington, Iowa, that his wife stood up to Coulter in a public spat earlier this summer.

“We know these people. We know their game plan. They’re going to attack us personally,” Edwards said. “They attacked Elizabeth personally, because she stood up to that she-devil Ann Coulter. … I should not have name-called. But the truth is — forget the names — people like Ann Coulter, they engage in hateful language.”

Of course you have to remember, Edwards is a liberal. “Hateful” language to liberals means pointing out how they run around and promoting the ideas of Karl Marx. You can’t be truthful when it comes to stuff like that. And don’t you EVER dare mock their multi-hundred dollar hair cuts or their sissy like appearance!

Oooooo that just makes them so mad that they want to slap you silly with a wet noodle!

One has to wonder how, if on the off chance Edwards gets elected President how he will have enough time to attend to important matters with his obsession over Ann Coulter?
