Ron Paul Head To Head With Clinton/Obama
J.J. Jackson | July 27, 2007
If you had to vote for Ron Paul to stop Hillary or Obama from becoming President would you? Honestly I think most conservatives and libertarians would bite the bullet and hold their nose over his foreign policy ideas and pull the lever for him. Of course Ron Paul has a long, long way to go before he even can be considered a legitimate contender for President but Rasmussen backs up my thoughts with a new poll:
The first national telephone survey by Rasmussen Reports of Republican Congressman Ron Paul’s presidential candidacy shows him trailing New York Senator Hillary Clinton by fifteen points and Illinois Senator Barack Obama by twenty.
Overall, the numbers show Clinton getting 49% of the vote when matched against Paul while the Republican hopeful picks up just 34%. Obama leads Paul 50% to 30%.

Those numbers are fantastic considering most common people have yet to learn about Ron Paul and his positions. After America learns about Ron Paul then he will win.
Ron Paul is 1st in YouTube, Meetup, MySpace, Technorati, Alexa, Google, etc. The old media is just too slow to realize what is happening.
Ron Paul places 1st or 2nd in every straw poll, debate, and active participation survey.
Dr. Ron Paul has the most contributions from U.S. military personnel & veterans above all other candidates. So support the troops and vote Ron Paul!
Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were doing about the same in the ‘Scientific Polls’ at this stage in their elections. ‘Scientific Polls’ at this stage only measure name recognition. Over the next six months Ron Paul will gain name recognition. Most people who learn about Ron Paul become major supporters.
70% of Americans want us out of Iraq and want change.
Ron Paul is only republican candidate against the war.
Ron Paul only needs about 30% vote from republicans sick of the war and abuse of powers to win in republican primaries.
Dr. Ron Paul is the man of integrity and courage that America needs at this time.
“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” John Quincy Adams

Yes, LOOK OUT! Ron Paul is at a whopping 1 – 2%!
Via la revolution!
These results are not really that fantastic when you consider that about 50% of the public have said they would not vote for Clinton and Obama’s numbers are also pathetic. Paul is only able to capture about two thirds of that? Doesn’t speak too highly of Paul.
Paul would be better than either of the leading liberals and that is why conservatives will vote for him. Bit only IF a comet strikes the Earth and wipes out all other GOP candidates. But since I haven’t heard of such a catastrophe on the horizon looks like Paul is nothing more than an also-ran.
As for this line of bull: “Dr. Ron Paul has the most contributions from U.S. military personnel & veterans above all other candidates. So support the troops and vote Ron Paul!” that has already been discussed on this site thoroughly with even Ron Paul supporters begging those claiming this to stop because of how silly it is based on the facts that the millions of dollars are from undeclared professions while Paul has only about 10-20 k from military members.
I am deeply embarased at how my fellow Paul supporters are clinging to that spin Ron.
Regardless, I think its pretty clear the Republicans (except for Paul) are too hated by Americans currently to win over either Hillary of Obama.
HUH? How do you come to that conclusion? Paul is polling worse against Obama and Clinton than any of the top Republican candidates. So how can you say that all (except him) are too hated to win?
Listen. I support Paul. But like I also have said, some of the the things that get said about him by others that support him are just too nutty to have been well thought out.
Pea, wait until you see the post tomorrow about how Ron Paul isn’t even the first choice among Democrats if they were to vote for a Republican and trails even pro-Iraq war candidates.
Stay tuned …
[...] as we have chronicled, Ron Paul being the nominee would most assuredly give the White House to the Democrats and that their candidate is actually more popular among big government liberals. Now this [...]
