MIAMI (AP) - “A clean sweep” is needed at the White House because President Bush has fostered “a culture of cronyism, corruption and incompetence,” Hillary Rodham Clinton said Saturday.The Democratic presidential candidate told nearly 1,000 women at a fundraiser that she would have much work to do at the White House if she won election in 2008.”After eight years of the Bush administration, we are going to be shocked by what we find,” the New York senator and former first lady said. “Somebody said to me the other day if there was ever a time for a woman president it’s now because we’re going to have to do a lot of cleaning.”
The women, many of who brought their daughters to the $100 per plate “Women for Hillary” breakfast, applauded wildly.
“Grab your buckets, grab your brooms,” Clinton said. “We’re going to have to do a clean sweep because there has been a culture of cronyism, corruption and incompetence.”
Psst. Hillary. Bill and you haven’t been in the White House for six years. Remember “Travelgate”? Or maybe Bill suborning perjury? I can go on if you like.

cronyism and corruption were best displayed by Hillary Clinton’s ‘husband’ on the day Mr.Clinton signed pardons for Mark Rich who OWED $35,000,000 to the IRS and a host of other convictions. All Mark Rich had to do to be exonerated by ‘then’ Pres. Clinton was cut a check of $1,000,000 to the Clinton library ! Talk about getting a DEEP DISCOUNT !! Save $34,000,000 and be exonerated of federal crimes. But, Hillary does NOT recall that incident.
Maybe the ‘good’ Senator figures what her hubby did was not ‘cronyism’.
The vast majority of pardons were issued on Bubba Clintons last day in office ( not a coincidence ).Most presidential pardon recipients had issued large checks toward the construction of the Clinton Lirary !! With Bill and Hillary, America was for sale. But that is not ‘cronyism’ in her book. She runs that spin in New York all day and everyday.The majority of voters over there are buying her spin too.Lord have mercy on the state of N.Y. and America if Sen. Clinton fools the American voters as well.
