Most of America Politically Ignorant

Yes, I’ve said it. Most of the people in America today are politically ignorant about the general positions each of the two major parties have taken. This is the kind of analysis you just don’t get from all those other sites giving their uninformed opinions.

I do not make these charges lightly. I can back it up. Take for example Rasmussen’s latest poll about who people trust on certain issues more; Republicans or Democrats. On immigration 40% said they trust Democrats more despite another poll by Rasmussen which shows that just 22% of people support the failed Senate amnesty immigration bill which, while it was supported by President Bush and a few liberal Republicans like Senator John “Where’s my bad money” McCain, was wholly sponsored, co-sponsored and pushed by Democrats!

If the people taking these polls, which represent a random sampling of Americans, were really paying attention then there is no way that almost twice as many would say the Democrats are seen as having the better solutions on immigration as approved of the Democrat’s immigration plan.

The only explanation is that the people are not educated on the issues and the stances of their elected officials. And THAT is a scary thing for this Republic. Because it makes them easily manipulated by those seeking political power.
