Lies, Damn Lies and Nancy Pelosi Idiocy

As many of you know, the DCCC just decided that it was going to start sending my wife their little email alerts from any number of liberal moonbats to try and get her to donate. That’s liberals for you! Just imposing themselves on you!

The latest is from Nancy Pelosi. Apparently Comrade Pelosi is upset that the President vetoed the stem cell spending bill put before him. She writes of his actions

…. with a single stroke of his cruel veto pen, President Bush will dash the hopes of millions of Americans seeking cures through the miracle of stem cell research.

Holy crap! Get out the shovel!

This is so much utter bull shit you can probably smell it through your computer.

First Comrade Pelosi, all he did was veto a spending bill that would have provided federal money (i.e. tax payer dollars) to fund research using embryonic stem cells. He didn’t make stem cell research illegal or anything like that you blooming moron.

Secondly you are more than happy to point out where in the Constitution Congress is even authorized to make such a distribution if you can. But you can’t. The spending was UNCONSTITUTIONAL!

By vetoing a bill that expands stem cell research, the President will say “No” to the more than 70 percent of Americans who support it, “No” to our Democratic Congress’ fight for progress, and “No” to saving lives and to potential cures for diseases such as diabetes and Parkinson’s. He will say “No” to hope.

Once again, he did no such thing. What he did do was stop Congress from spending money in a manner that the Constitution does not allow.

And I am sure there were plenty of lemmings in the Democratic Party that will do jsut that because Comrade Pelosi just told them how President Bush was denying people cures! Oh the vapors! Someone get Nancy a couch to faint on!

I’m surprised they didn’t trot Michael J. Fox back out for this one to read a script and promote something even he admits he never read.

Gotta admire the left for playing to their base and telling them what they want to hear while fear mongering to those that aren’t paying close enough attention to know better.
