The whole Ann Coulter, John Edwards & Elizabeth Edwards tiff is just too priceless! Now John Edwards continues the “personal attacks” on Ann even as he defended his wife for saying that the “personal attacks” should be stopped.
A day after his wife Elizabeth called in to MSNBC’s “Hardball” to confront conservative commentator Ann Coulter, Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards made his own appearance on the show.He dismissed Coulter, calling her “mean-spirited,” having no shame and being “crazy.” He defended his wife’s efforts to ask Coulter to drop her personal attacks, saying, “You have to stand up to them.”
“I don’t think [Coulter] has any shame; there’s no doubt about that,” Edwards said. “I think that’s just the way she behaves. That’s who she is. And I think that’s a lot of what we see from these people who are just — that are crazy.”
Call me “crazy” John, but calling someone “crazy” certainly seems like a personal attack! You got to love the left and you got to love the lemmings that follow them. They can say anything while attacking others for the same thing.
Listen John, and you too Liz, I know you two think you’re smart. But you’re not. Sure, you’re pretty smart compared to other liberals, but in the grand scheme of things these kind of stunts show you as below average when compared to the population at large.
“Personal attacks” are part of politics John. Go back and look at what our founding fathers said about each other for Heaven’s sake! When your politics are “personal”, any attack on your politics is by its very nature “personal”.
You’re going to have to grow up and stop having your wife fight your battles for you John. Because, like I said before, I highly doubt that Usama bin Laden will take the phone call from Liz asking him to play nice.

J.J. You are right, calling someone crazy is a personal attack. But nothing compared to the dept of Ms. Coulters on going rhetoric. Since you fancy yourself to be so smart, do you really think it’s an attractive characteristic to compare levels of intelligence ? Who is more of a threat to peace bin laden,or george w. bush ? Yes, the “facts” are what they are. And the answer is Osama bin Laden.
You have to hand it to lefty moonbats. They always try to duck the truth. Jeff said. “Listen John, and you too Liz, I know you two think you’re smart. But you’re not.” Which is absolutely true based on their actions. They say stop the personal attacks and then engage in personal attacks. You just poo poo it.
Facts are liberals just are not that smart. They keep trying the same failed ideas over and over all over the world only to watch them collapse and the people fall into missery.
Typical liberal rhetoric Ron you know that. When dimbulbs like Ronald here say “Oh that’s right I forgot “smart” people do not care about peace or true facts.” they do so because they never look at history and see that the “fact” is that “peace” rarely comes without fighting for it. They run around chanting “give peace a chance” and were the same people that poo poo’ed Hitler’s Holocaust and war of agression in the 40’s. They were the same people that let the Soviet Union gobble up states to oppress under their thumb after WWII. They were also the same people that didn’t care that communism was advancing in Vietnam and trying to enslave more people. Heck, they were the same people who had to be dragged kicking and screaming into war with the Barbary States back in the early 1800’s for that matter!
Why? Because they like socialism, Nazism, communism, fascissm and all the other left wing ideals that their fellow travelers push. They want to see the whole world under that sort of tyranny. They have no ability to do what is right because their vision of what is right is oppression of the people under a “utopia” that causes bread lines, starvation and poverty.
Of course he is supporting Obama. Obama is out there actively promoting socialism. The do not believe in liberty or the inalienable rights of mankind. They want the U.S.S.A.

Yes, they are. Osama and his ilk have been blowing up children and women in markets for how long? There is a world of difference between those that fight to opppress people and deny them their God given rights and those that seek to rule through terror. Liberals never get that though. And I guarantee you that if Obama were in office and he lead the military somewhere around the world, the leftists would fall right in line just like they did under Clinton.
Since we are talking about Usama, let’s not forget that this either. The major complaint by radical Muslsim is that there are “infidels” on “sacred” Muslim soil and that is why they attack. But why is that? OH! History tells us that lesson too! Because the Ottoman Empire (Muslims) sided with Germany in WWI and GOT THEIR ASSES WHOOPED! At such time they lost their land.
History. Learn it. Love it!
Certainly the facts are clear. Which is why liberals ignore them.
I think the slam on the intelligence of the Edwardses is very accurate. They are too stupid to realize that they are doing exactly what they are accusing the other side of doing and there are lots of liberals that will follow them like lemmings to the slaughter.
You can attack people “personally”. I don’t care. But at least have some sort of substance to back it up when doing so. That’s the problem with the left. They are devoid of substance.
