Liberals Fail To Get Ann Coulter’s Scalp

The left lost one of it’s major talking points against right wing pundit Ann Coulter as she was cleared of any wrongdoing in the allegation that she violated Florida’s election rules and committed voter fraud:
Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has been cleared of wrongdoing in an investigation into whether she violated Florida elections law by voting in the wrong precinct.Palm Beach County elections officials received a complaint in February 2006 that Coulter voted in the wrong precinct during a Palm Beach town council election. The elections office looked into the matter for nearly nine months before turning the case over to state prosecutors.
The case was handed to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, which concluded in a report that “there was insufficient probable cause to determine that Ann Coulter willfully or deliberately” violated any laws.
NewsMaxalso reports that an FBI agent confirmed that Ann Coulter was also having problems with a stalker at the same time
Coulter’s attorney said she might have used the wrong address when registering to protect herself from a stalker.Enter Supervisory Special Agent Jim Fitzgerald of the FBI Academy’s Behavioral Analysis Unit, a serial-killer specialist who worked on the Unabomber case.
He spoke with a PBSO detective and confirmed that he had been “working a stalking incident” involving Coulter, Palm Beach Post columnist Jose Lambiet reported.
I wonder how many of the left wingers out there will still keep this now debunked charge of voter fraud in their talking points about Ann Coulter. Probably at least 90%.

Two thoughts come to mind.
First of all, the Liberals do not understand the elements of law required to charge an offense, which includes an “intent” to commit a crime. Clearly, with the circumstances as reported there was no intent, whatsoever.
Secondly, far more disturbing than the basic ignorance of law and procedures of law, is the complete minimization of women and violence toward women…and the degradation of the protections afforded toward women in protecting themselves. I believe we are seeing a trend of the hostile Liberal who doesn’t think much of professional women who are outspoken with their opinions.
Finally, the Liberals appear to have no knowledge whatsoever of the system, that when an alleged offense is investigated that witnesses come forward and interview with the investigating officer of their knowledge of the matter. In this case, it was the federal officer who investigated the stalking incident…all common, all appropriate.
God help us all…with this uneducated band of people wanting to lead in the U.S…….
(Got an error message the first time… Trying one more time, in case. I’d like you to post it once, but should you choose to do so, there’s no need to post it (or this bit here) twice… 8>)

There are some very interesting twists that are left out of this story. It is alleged that the FBI agent in question is a former boyfriend of miss Coulter’s. That FBI agent’s actions in miss Coulter’s voter fraud case are now under review at the FBI.
Miss Coulter falsified her address, both on her voter registration form and her driver’s license application. The voter form (& most likely the license application, as well) include an oath at the bottom which affirms that everything she filled out on the form is true, and also says “I understand that if it is not true, I can be convicted of a felony of the third degree, and fined up to $5000 and/or imprisoned for up to five years.” The address she used on both forms belonged to miss coulter’s real estate agent, and that real estate agent has testified that miss Coulter did not have permission to use her address on those forms. It’s hard to believe miss Coulter did not know her own address, or that the one she put on those forms was not hers.
There is the alternate theory that she used this other woman’s address without her knowledge to avoid a stalker. Of course, that doesn’t say much about miss Coulter’s character in exposing her real estate agent to this stalker instead, particularly without telling her. And I wasn’t aware of there being an exception to that oath she signed on those forms for folks wanting to avoid being stalked. Getting a post office box, or perhaps filing a police report regarding her stalker might’ve been more helpful…
You’re right Jeff, the fact that she was found not to have committed a crime hasn’t stopped the talking points from flowing freely.
Well, you know how it is with the left there always has to be something for them to complain about and when they can’t tackle the issues they destroy the person. Just look at their assault on the Swift Boat Vets, Tom DeLay, the U.S. Attorney case, Billy Dale, etc.
