First Battle Won; War Not Over

I want to say that I am proud of the American public. Thanks to your phone calls (and I’m sure a few choice words worthy of the saltiest sailor) the Senate has pushed back it’s timeline for action on their immigration reform bill.

Senate Puts Off Action on ImmigrationWASHINGTON (AP) - Senate leaders agreed Monday that they would wait until June to take final action on a bipartisan plan to give millions of unlawful immigrants legal status.

Just remember the war is not won.
