Representative John “Cut and Run; Where’s My White Flag?” Murtha is upset. He is upset that John McCain would dare make a joke about giving John Stewart and IED. Murtha blurted out in response:
“Imagine a presidential candidate making a joke about IEDs when our kids are getting blown up,” he said.
To which John McCain, whom readers know I find unfit to serve in the Senate, properly responded “get a life”.
Murtha surely sensed that the cameras were off of him for far too long and needed to draw attention to himself. For him to get outraged over a joke not directed at the troops but a confrontational comedian by trying to link it to the troops is, in my opinion, desperation from a man who only is happy when the limelight is on him since he realized that acting like a fool garners attention.
Murtha is upset about this? But what did he say when Kerry call our troops stupid? Or for that matter how dare he do this when he is constantly out and about denigrating the mission the troops are dying for? Hypocrisy, thy name is Murtha.
