Imus Canned By MSNBC … Another Victory For Race Baiting Poverty Pimps

NEW YORK — MSNBC said Wednesday it will drop its simulcast of the “Imus in the Morning” radio program, responding to growing outrage over the radio host’s racial slur against the Rutgers women’s basketball team. “This decision comes as a result of an ongoing review process, which initially included the announcement of a suspension. It also takes into account many conversations with our own employees,” NBC news said in a statement.

The decision also was announced on air.

Imus triggered the uproar on his April 4 show, when he referred to the mostly black Rutgers women’s basketball team as “nappy-headed hos.” His comments have been widely denounced by civil rights and women’s groups.

Imus is not the brightest knife in the drawer. But for a man that has made his entire career being an equal opportunity offender the man has said far worse things and made far worse accusations. The poverty pimps known as the charlatans Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson who lead this charge against the mumbling fool have likewise said and done thing equally as bad (and worse). He certainly should not be fired for this (not if Sharpton is still allowed to be on the radio!)

All this shows is that there are still a lot of lily-livered cowards who quake in fear every time someone cries “racism!” And as long as that is the case, the culture will continue to slide into oblivion; lead by whip masters like Al and Jessie.

I agree totally. Who woke up one morning and decided what is freedom of speech and what is not? Well somebody decided it was a racist remark. Why not spend time going after rappers for saying the same things. Oh I forgot, they are mostly black and it don’t count. Let a white senior citizen say it and it don’t fly. Leave Imus alone. He is an equal opportunity offender and has appologized. Get off his back! Did anybody ever consider that Imus has feelings too? Why would MSNBC want to ax him and hurt his feelings? White senior citizens have feelings too and they have been oppressed for long enough. They can’t open their mouths without someone there to shut it. If you don’t like what they are saying, turn the channel. Take a hit at Rosie, she is far more offensive. I really hope MSNBC’s ratings go down the toilet after this… and to you Imus, stop listening to rap…

Let’s remember that “free speech” is only a protection citizens are guaranteed to have when it comes to government action and interference. It has nothing to do with private companies who are free to fold like a house of cards to radical hypocrites like Sharpton and Jackson because they are (as Jeff said) “lily-livered cowards”.
