Beleaguered Duhram District Attorney Mike Nifong may be entering into full meltdown mode trying to defend his prosecution (persecution?) of three Duke Lacrosse players accused of rape with little (try no?) evidence of any actual rape.
A well-connected and well-financed (but not, I would suggest, well-intentioned) group of individuals — most of whom are neither in nor from North Carolina, have taken it upon themselves to ensure that this case never reaches trial.
Hey Mr. Nifong! Stop trying to blame other people for the fact that the case fell apart and you looked like a fool before the entire nation except for that small portion of Americans who wanted you to get them white boys!
What’s this excuse basically translate as? That there was a vast conspiracy out to get Mr. Nifong.
Apparently Mr. Nifong is yet another bitter, race baiting lefty Dem who can’t deal with other people questioning him. And he REALLY hates how people have exposed him and ruined his career. The reason you got your butt handed to you Mr. Nifong is not because of these “well-connected” and “well-financed” people you think are after you but because your case was so weak you couldn’t have indicted a ham sandwich with the evidence you had.

The DA and the false accuser were both willing to put 3 innocent men into prison for up to 30 years each. Why isn’t anyone trying to put both of them in prison for at least as long?
What I really look forward to are the civil lawsuits against the DA personally, the Durham Police Department, the false accuser, the Gang of 88 Faculty for defamation, and Duke University. I hope that each of these young men collect at least $5 million from EACH of the above named parties for ruining their lives and careers. This will be the best payback that there is.
