John Edwards Continues To Rewrite History
J.J. Jackson* | March 7, 2007
“If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”
This seems to be the adage for Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, as he remains tight-lipped about his opinion of conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
In a speech delivered on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, Coulter said, “I was going to have few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot.’”
Coulter said the comment was made in jest; Edwards responded that he thinks it’s important to not reward hateful, selfish, childish behavior with attention.
Which of course completely explains why John Edwards hired bomb throwing, potty mouthed bloggers like Melissa McEwan to work on his campaign right?
Liberals will of course believe this. Thinking people will of course realize that Coulter’s comments while probably uncalled for exposed John Edwards for the hypocrite he is. Call Catholics and Bush every name under the sun and you have a job with the Edward’s campaign. Call Edwards a name and you’re conducting “hateful, selfish and childish” behavior. Ah to be a liberal and not to have to live by your own standards must be a wonderful thing.
