International Association of Fire Fighters Pissed At Rudy?

What is up with the IAFF? They have their knickers in a twist because they didn‘t get the number of fire fighters they wanted searching the rubble of the World Trade Center after 9/11?
WASHINGTON — One of the nation’s largest firefighters unions has accused Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani of committing “egregious acts” against firefighters who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
In a draft letter, the International Association of Fire Fighters criticize the former New York City mayor for cutting back on the number of firefighters searching the rubble of Ground Zero for the remains of other firefighters.
The letter reads in part: “Many people consider Rudy Giuliani ‘America’s Mayor,’ and many of our members who don’t yet know the real story, may also have a positive view of him. This letter is intended to make all of our members aware of the egregious acts Mayor Giuliani committed against our members, our fallen on 9/11, and our New York City union officers following that horrific day.”http://www.whiotv.com/politics/11213648/detail.html
If this what they consider an “egregious act ” I’d REALLY hate to see what they would call something REALLY bad like … oh … terrorists flying planes in to two big ass towers and killing thousands of Americans!
Listen, I find Rudy far from an ideal candidate in 2008 and not very conservative at all but this is absolutely childish and idiotic by the IAFF.

And how many members of your family were in the towers? Maybe those of us that lost 343 of our family members have a right to have our “Knickers” in a twist. Actually they are called bunker pants, and perhaps you should look into riding along with some firefighters for a shift or two and experience what it is they do. The only idiotic thing I see here is an outsider judging others. I believe the saying is “Do not judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes.” I wear size 11 if you’d like to try.
Ok, let’s put this shit to rest. I had four family members (uncle, aunt, and two cousins) in the towers when they were hit. Thank God they all made it out alive.
To you Mr. Duhoski, (or should I call you Mr. can’t make a point?) sit down, shut up and you might just learn something. This is the most typical of sophomoric arguments. It has been used by anti-war crackheads like Cindy Shehan to justify preventing criticism against her (even though many that are have faced the same or worse loss), it is used constantly by the pro-abortion crowd to try to silence debate even though many that are against abortion are women, and now you.
Get over yourself. One does not have to “walk a mile in one’s shoes” to have an opinion on something. It is simply an vacuous arguement put forth by those that can’t deal with dissenting opinions.
Semper Fi brother Ron. As for Mr. Duhoski here, he apparently can’t fill my size 12s and I’ll be happy to break one of them off in his ass. Problem is I would have to find room around his head that is already inserted there it seems.
I had one sister in the North Tower. She made it out. Two of her friends were not so lucky.
You want to pick a fight? Pick it with this Marine you SoB!
Way to go Mr. Duhoski! Want to piss off any more members of the military who had family in the Towers?
Well, you’re pretty lucky I guess on that front because as far as I know among our membership Ron and Oohrah were the only two.
Maybe next time you’ll want to make a better impression instead of jumping right in and pissing off a couple Marines?
HEY! Who let the union hack in!
