NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — An illegal immigrant identified as one of several attackers in the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl is to go on trial this week. Miguel Gutierrez, 20, is charged with two counts of rape and is one of two people arrested in the case. Other suspects have not been located, said Hamilton County Deputy Prosecutor Stephanie Smith. The trial is set for Tuesday in Hamilton Circuit Court. According to court documents, the rapes occurred in July 2006, when the victim and a friend accepted a boy’s invitation to a neighboring home in the 10700 block of E. 166th St. Once there, she told authorities, the two girls drank alcohol in the company of four other Hispanic males.
