Global Warming Alarmists trying to gain control over world economies and the lives of people scoff at any idea that runs counter to their man is causing the Earth to warm scaremongering. But the problem for them is that there are no humans on Mars and Mars appears to also be warming.
Simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars suggests that our planet’s recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human- induced—cause, according to one scientist’s controversial theory.
Earth is currently experiencing rapid warming, which the vast majority of climate scientists says is due to humans pumping huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
Ok, FIRST the Earth is not “experiencing rapid warming”. So can we cut the crap? Now let’s continue:
Mars, too, appears to be enjoying more mild and balmy temperatures.
In 2005 data from NASA’s Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide “ice caps” near Mars’s south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.
Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of the St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun.
“The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars,” he said.
I use this article because in the past when I have talked about warming on Mars I inevitably get emails from dullards who couldn’t pass a third grade science test saying that it is not accurate to use the polar caps on Mars as a measure because Mars has a longer orbit than the Earth and has longer summers (hence more melting of the poles).
It’s a cute little trick that perhaps someone that couldn’t pass a second grade science test might fall for, but what we can see is that the length of the year on Mars is not an issue here. We are talking about trends over several years.
Not wanting to actually debate the topic logically, National Geographic ran out to find a Global Warming Alarmist to refute this:
“His views are completely at odds with the mainstream scientific opinion,” said Colin Wilson, a planetary physicist at England’s Oxford University.
“And they contradict the extensive evidence presented in the most recent IPCC [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change] report.”
Ok, again, “mainstream scientific opinion” is not a measure of fact. Fact is a measure of fact. And also the IPCC has not yet been released! Only a summary has been released so there is no way Colin Wilson can make this statement. We haven’t even seen the “extensive evidence” he claims exists.
So they added another Global Warming Alarmist just for good measure probably because they knew this defense was weak.
Amato Evan, a climate scientist at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, added that “the idea just isn’t supported by the theory or by the observations.”
See the books that I have provided at the end of this article to refute this sophomoric argument that should be above anyone that dares call themselves a “scientist”.
Then National Geographic returns to Wilson who himself contradicts what he calls “mainstream scientific opinion” on Global Warming (ie that man is the cause).
The conventional theory is that climate changes on Mars can be explained primarily by small alterations in the planet’s orbit and tilt, not by changes in the sun.
“Wobbles in the orbit of Mars are the main cause of its climate change in the current era,” Oxford’s Wilson explained.
So now it’s wobble? I thought it was mankind? So even Wilson now admits that there are other causes for melting polar caps (water or CO2) and other observations that the radical environmental Marxists make to try and substantiate how evil man is.
And just for completeness National Geographic takes one parting shot
Most scientists now fear that the massive amount of carbon dioxide humans are pumping into the air will lead to a catastrophic rise in Earth’s temperatures, dramatically raising sea levels as glaciers melt and leading to extreme weather worldwide.
You know, there was a time when “most scientists” thought the Earth was flat and that it was also the center of the solar system too and backed it up with observations and reasons. Boy, that worked out didn’t it?
