Gallop Poll: Al Gore Has No Chance

Is Al Gore too fringe for America? Respondents to a new Gallop poll seems to think so.
NEW YORK Former Vice President Al Gore is enjoying a boom in the wake of his Oscar win earlier this week for “An Inconvenient Truth.” You’d think that the “Draft Al for President” movement was pretty strong or wide. But is it?
A new Gallup poll released today finds that, actually, relatively few Democrats think he could win the White House next year.
Sixty-eight percent give Gore a “slim” or “no” chance to beat a Republican next year. http://www.mediainfo.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003552361
However other data showed that people thought Sen. Hillary Clinton would have a good or excellent chance to win (74%), Sen. Barack Obama would have a good or excellent chance to win (71%), and John Edwards would have a good or excellent chance to win (52%).
The solution for Gore? Ditch the over the top Global Warming scare mongering and stick to the basic socialist talking points of tax the rich and “free”’ health coverage for all just like these other guys if you want a chance.
