Unconstitutional Government Continues In Washington
J.J. Jackson* | February 2, 2007
WASHINGTON - The Senate voted overwhelmingly yesterday to boost the federal minimum wage by $2.10 to $7.25 an hour over two years. Senators packaged the increase with tax cuts for small businesses and higher taxes for many executives earning more than $1 million.
The challenge is still open. Can anyone point to where in the Constitution Congress has this authority? Come on! I’ll even settle for debunking the old left wing stand-by of “but it says ‘general Welfare’” myth again just to hear some left wing, big government type try!
