NORWOOD - Police arrested a Framingham man who tripped an alarm in a building where he worked - not because he was a burglar but because he was wanted on an immigration charge. Jose C. Salerme, 40, of 259 Irving St., No. 2, was arrested Wednesday night on an immigration charge after police said the alarm called them at 11:35 p.m. to Jaguar and Land Rover of Norwood at 449 Neponset St. Norwood Police spokesman Paul Bishop said Salerme, working as a cleaner, accidentally tripped burglar alarms several times. “We get a lot of these types of calls,” Bishop said yesterday.
