DALLAS — A judge in Dallas today accepted plea agreements for three people — including an ex-policeman — in a passport and visa fraud case. Federal prosecutors say 37-year-old Jose Luis Cabrera of Rowlett pleaded guilty to making a false statement in an immigration document. Cabrera had been a Dallas policeman for eleven years before his firing in December, following his indictment. His 34-year-old wife, Moraima, pleaded guilty to making false statements in a passport application. She’s from Mexico. They wed in 2004.
