As if you even needed another reason not to support Senettorette Clinton for President, supporters are suggesting that old Billy could be appointed to replace her in the Senate.

WASHINGTON — If Hillary Clinton is elected president, the next senator from New York could be her husband, Bill Clinton.
Supporters are touting that scenario in the event the seat currently held by Mrs. Clinton opens up as she moves to higher office. New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, a Democrat, would be tasked with appointing someone to fill the open Senate seat for the remaining two years of Clinton’s term.

As if it wasn’t bad enough with him in the White House chasing skirts, ignoring national security, lying about WMDs in Iraq (right you liberals always on Bush for that same fallacy?), persecuting people in government that he didn’t like, and on and on. I only hope that there is a stock of good cigars in the Capitol if this should come to pass.

But in addition, we continue to see that there is an undercurrent in the Democrat party and the liberals that run it to focus on race rather than qualifications

“I think there’d be a real call on [Spitzer] to appoint a black senator,” Ickes said. “I think there’d be a real call on him to appoint a Hispanic senator.”

Heaven forbid that we would just worry about appointing someone that is qualified right? What is it with you liberals that causes you to let the color of people’s skin rule your world? Is it the fact that you just feel guilty for all the years of pain and suffering you and your ancestors have heaped upon minorities over the years?
