Al Franken - Perfect for Political Office?

Continuing to prove that people who fail in real life seek public office where they don’t actually have to do anything to get a fat paycheck, Al Franken has announced he plans to run for Senate:

By PATRICK CONDON. AP. MINNEAPOLIS — Comedian Al Franken said Wednesday he will run for US Senate in 2008, confirming his long-suspected plans to seek the Democratic nomination to challenge Republican Sen. Norm Coleman.

We can only hope that Franken’s latest endeavor is as “successful” as his career as a political talk show host.
