Talk about wanting to silence your critics!
The Weather Channel’s most prominent climatologist is advocating that broadcast meteorologists be stripped of their scientific certification if they express skepticism about predictions of manmade catastrophic global warming. This latest call to silence skeptics follows a year (2006) in which skeptics were compared to “Holocaust Deniers” and Nuremberg-style war crimes trials were advocated by several climate alarmists.
The Weather Channel’s (TWC) Heidi Cullen, who hosts the weekly global warming program “The Climate Code,” is advocating that the American Meteorological Society (AMS) revoke their “Seal of Approval” for any television weatherman who expresses skepticism that human activity is creating a climate catastrophe.
“If a meteorologist can’t speak to the fundamental science of climate change, then maybe the AMS shouldn’t give them a Seal of Approval. Clearly, the AMS doesn’t agree that global warming can be blamed on cyclical weather patterns,” Cullen wrote in her December 21 weblog on the Weather Channel Website.
Boy, so now because people point out that looooooooong before us evil humans were hear the climate changed and that natural activities like volcanoes and sun spot activity have huge effects on global climate we should not be allowed to speak?
Sounds like you’ve got a great career ahead of you … as a footsoldier for fascists. To suggest that someone should not be certified to do what they do because they disagree with your ideas is idiocy at its best.
As the author of this post I have cited points out you really should read the comments because the volume of comments that are against her is HUGE! Who’d a thunk it? This is probably the real reason she wants to silence the opposition … because she knows how numerous and actually educated on the issue they are.
And besides who would trust a woman who doesn’t even know her own business. Notice she decried meteorologists that would claim “hurricanes rotate clockwise”. In fact, they do! In the southern hemisphere!

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal by spouting such things, you probably are not.
